We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Supply Chain team as a Purchasing Manager at our Pitstone site.

Your Role:
- Lead, manage & develop the Purchasing team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
- Ensure the successful delivery of the purchasing strategy, defined at divisional level.
- Responsibility and accountability for supplier performance.
- Ensure we consistently meet our standards for quality, OTD and risk management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across the business to ensure needs are met and supplier relationships are maintained and continuously developed.
- Schedule regular and executive performance reviews with suppliers.
- Manage a regular communication flow with internal customers, covering suppliers performance status, recovery and development plans.
What You’ll Bring:
- Essential: Degree or relevant experience in Business, Engineering, Purchasing or related field.
- Strong knowledge of how a Purchasing function integrates within a business and supplier operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of aerospace.
- Demonstrable negotiation skills, coupled with the ability to drive successful supplier relationships.
- Experience managing a large and diverse supplier base.
- Experience of managing and leading within a direct and matrix model organisation.
- Desirable: Experience with legal contract management.
- Proficiency in using large Access databases with extensive data mining.
