POSITION PROFILE: DSI Optronics has a great opportunity for a Business Development Operations Analyst to join the Sales team. This individual will be an important member in supporting business development and sales managers in the processing of quotes to customers and receipt of purchase orders from customers in a timely manner in Salesforce CRM. This individual will also help drive quote forecasting and KPI reporting to stakeholders, driving insight into front-end operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process quotes and purchase order receipts per standard internal operating procedures within the Salesforce environment.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Finance, Export Control, and Operations to meet quote deadlines in support of RFQ opportunities.
  • Coordinate monthly internal shipment meetings with various stakeholders to align on monthly forecasts and mitigate delays.
  • If internal delays are communicated, coordinate with external customers on the updated forecasted shipping dates.
  • Track and manage license status for orders in coordination with Export Control.
  • Reconcile orders intake with Salesforce monthly.
  • Update standard operating procedures as required and notify stakeholders of changes to Salesforce environment, if applicable.
  • Perform onboarding and training as necessary for new members to the Salesforce environment.
  • Strengthen sales administration relationships with various distributors, prospects, clients, and partners in the government contracting environment.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties and change management initiatives as assigned in support of ongoing operations.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with a “can do” attitude.
  • Results driven, thorough, and timely.
  • Proficient with Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Resident.

IDEALLY, YOU’LL ALSO HAVE:

  • 1 to 2 years working in an administrative environment.
  • Salesforce Cloud and CPQ experience a plus.

TRAVEL: less than 5 % occasional travel
