Your Role
- Plan and execute Systems Engineering work packages as part of an integrated product team.
- Work autonomously while understanding the broader context of the role within the organization, and engage in discussions regarding relevant processes, policies and procedures.
- Coordinate requirements management for a project.
- Understand, interpret and clarify customer requirements.
- Ensure traceability of product design specifications to customer requirements.
- Develop product specifications based on customer requirements, cascade specifications from system level to component level, and verify and validate product performance.
- Develop system architecture models using graphical modeling approaches and conduct trade‑off analyses to identify optimized solutions.
- Support the development of system planning documents, specification documents, requirements verification procedures and acceptance procedures.
- Ensure that product design and development conducted by different functional disciplines aligns with the requirements.
- Identify and address technical risks and implement risk‑mitigation strategies throughout the programme’s lifecycle.
- Interface with customers, subcontractors and business partners regarding product design requirements, product development and product acceptance.
Essential Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in systems engineering principles, including systems thinking, system lifecycles, requirements definition and system architecting.
- Proficiency in Systems Modeling Language (SysML) – practical experience in utilizing SysML for system architecture modeling, requirements specification and analysis.
- Initiative and innovation catalyst – proven ability to drive and champion new initiatives, and challenge existing ideas.
