What does the role involve? As an Assistant Financial Controller, you'll be at the heart of our finance operations — working alongside skilled financial professionals to deliver robust, accurate and timely business information. You'll have the opportunity to lead modernization initiatives, drive process efficiency and digitalisation, and make a direct impact on decision‐making in a fast‐paced, high‐tech environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts, general ledger closing, and group reporting packs
  • Overseeing SAP Cockpit and the P2P workflow to drive compliance and on‐time processing
  • Managing, coaching, and developing a Trainee Accountant, supporting career progression
  • Improving and streamlining finance processes through digital tools and analytics
  • Supporting audits, statutory accounting, tax activities, and all aspects of internal controls

What You'll Bring:

  • Essential
  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent hands‐on experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven analytical and problem‐solving skills, with proven experience in driving process improvements
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and business partnering skills across all levels
  • Proactive, detail‐oriented, and resilient approach to meeting deadlines and managing priorities
  • Desirable
  • Experience with Power BI and finance process automation
  • Continuous improvement mindset and a passion for driving change
  • Expertise in SAP (or equivalent ERP), advanced Microsoft Excel, and digital finance tools
