This role is based in Johannesburg. The role of the SSA Business Coordinator/Team Leader is to support the SAFRAN HE SSA team with administrative and logistic functions associated with supporting customers in Sub Sahara Africa. Direct leadership of the Field Technicians. Provide support to the Field Representative, Customer Support Interface and Head of SSA Business who are primarily responsible for customer satisfaction and sales development.

Responsibilities

  • Off-site Maintenance Support
  • Maintenance centre checklist and general store and office upkeep: Inspect the areas as per the maintenance centre store checklist and highlight any anomalies to the team. Review the general condition of the store and facilities and highlight anomalies.
  • Tool Calibration: Monitor special tools calibration in line with the calibration schedule. Recall tools to be calibrated and arrange the transfer to the Service Provider. Receive quote from the service provider and arrange payment. Follow up on completion and arrange collection and return transfer to the store. Update calibration schedule and file calibration certificates. Optimisation of calibration schedule.
  • Checking of Lifting Equipment: Arrange the Service Provider to be on-site quarterly for the checking of lifting equipment. Arrange payment. Keep records.
  • Consumables: Monitor the use of consumables (oils and greases) in terms of availability and shelf life and arrange replenishment with the supplier. Arrange payment.
  • Tool replacement: Manage the process of replacement of tools, from quote to delivery.
  • Off site preparation: Assist the field technician to prepare for an off-site intervention – liaise with the CSR to obtain documentation (PO/SO). Prepare security travel form and request travel. Apply for SACAA Away from base and EASA deviation as required. Liaise with the customer for the preparation of a Self Audit checklist if needed.
