Our expertise covers nacelle design, manufacturing, integration, maintenance and services. Our site in Burnley provides employment to almost 700 people and we are proud to be one of the largest private sector employers in Burnley.
About the role
This presents a great opportunity for a Business Analyst, with experience within a manufacturing environment, to make a real impact on the decision‑making of our business for the future! You’ll work with a wide range of stakeholders and have the opportunity to lead on highly visible business projects. We are currently embarking on a data governance journey at our site, and the Business Analyst role will play a key part in this transformation.
Key responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and develop robust KPI Tree structures to ensure a clear line of sight between operational activities and strategic business outcomes.
- Drive the development and continuous improvement of a suite of business KPIs that will enable the site to accurately evaluate business processes and performance.
- Conduct and lead interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to identify business needs.
- Act as a conduit between the business and the data teams to translate requirements into useful, impactful data sets to support decision making.
- Identify, inform, and educate the business audience on how we can/should be using the data sets available to drive informed decisions.
What you’ll need
- Demonstrable Business Analyst experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in designing and optimising KPI Trees and performance measurement frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficient with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, SAP, API, RPA) and business intelligence platforms (Power BI).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts and facilitate workshops focused on performance alignment.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall (desirable).
