What does the role look like?

We are looking for a high-impact Materials Manager to transform and elevate delivery performance across our Wolverhampton site. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, focused on strengthening materials planning, optimising processes, and improving customer delivery and financial performance. Working across Value Streams and SIOP, you will drive consistency, remove inefficiencies and embed best-in-class materials management practices. If you enjoy solving complex operational challenges, influencing cross-functional stakeholders and delivering measurable improvements, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a visible impact.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

  • Lead site-wide harmonisation of Delivery Clinic processes to improve performance and consistency
  • Analyse and resolve cross-functional SIOP and materials planning challenges
  • Optimise planning parameters across OEM and Aftermarket (PFEP) to improve service and inventory performance
  • Develop and implement short-term capacity planning tools to support operational decision-making
  • Embed production control best practice within operational teams
  • Ensure stock control processes align with financial governance and compliance standards
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of specialists, setting clear objectives and driving results

What will you bring to the role?

Essential skills:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) within Supply Chain, SIOP or Materials Management in a complex manufacturing environment
  • Strong cross-functional understanding of Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and ERP systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement through data-led decision making

Desirable skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain or a technical discipline
  • APICS CPIM / SCM certification (or equivalent)
