We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Supply Chain team as a Supplier Performance Manager at our Wolverhampton site. Your Role

As a Supplier Performance Manager, you will play a key role in developing strategic supplier relationships and driving continuous improvement across Safran's supply chain. Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will monitor supplier performance, identify improvement opportunities, and lead initiatives that enhance quality, delivery, cost, innovation and overall supply chain effectiveness.

You will be responsible for developing performance improvement plans, conducting supplier reviews and visits, and ensuring robust corrective actions are implemented where performance falls short of expectations. By leveraging data, lean methodologies and strong stakeholder engagement, you will help maximise supplier value and support the successful delivery of Safran's operational and strategic objectives.

  • Developing and managing relationships with strategic suppliers to drive performance and business outcomes.
  • Monitoring supplier KPIs including quality, delivery, lead time, responsiveness and total cost of ownership.
  • Leading supplier performance reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and supplier visits.
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base.
  • Supporting root cause investigations and ensuring corrective and preventative actions are effectively deployed.
  • Collaborating with Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and Operations teams to resolve supplier performance issues.
  • Driving supplier development activities focused on quality improvement, delivery performance and cost reduction.
  • Escalating supplier performance concerns and supporting mitigation strategies where required.

What You'll Bring

Essential

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working directly with suppliers within a Supply Chain environment
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence at operational and executive level
  • Experience using SAP and applying Lean Six Sigma tools, Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving methodologies

Desirable

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Aerospace experience
