As enabling partners, our communications function collaborates with teams across the organisation on a whole spectrum of initiatives and projects.

In this role you will work with internal partners to deliver clear, relevant and timely content to inform and build support amongst employees for the exciting change programme that the business is undertaking. This includes supporting senior leaders to communicate effectively through change as well as advising project teams on change management approaches and developing communications content that helps to inform and engage employees.

We're after a dynamic individual who is equally adept at identifying communications milestones, anticipating challenges, and developing engaging content that will appeal to employees across all the organisation's global sites.

Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver the communications and change management plan
  • Work with the project teams to provide strategic and tactical communications guidance to support successful project delivery
  • Partner with a range of stakeholders (i.e. senior leaders, project teams, local communications leads, and employees) to craft messaging and narratives that contextualise the project activities and builds understanding, support and action amongst employees.
  • With our communications team, maintain our internal communications plans and create and schedule content across our key internal channels.
  • Work to shape and offer best practice around improving change management activity and internal communications.
What will you bring to the role?Essential skills:
  • Knowledge of internal communication and change communications best practice, and comfortable at forming plans that drive real results
  • Ability to effectively prioritise in a fast-changing environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills. You'll be as comfortable talking to one of our factory workers on the shop floor as you will be working with those in the C-suite
Desirable skills:
  • A relevant professional qualification (CIPR/IOIC/CIM/PRCA etc) is highly desirable
  • Experience advising complex, matrixed organisations on major change programmes and initiatives
  • Familiarity with digital communications methods e.g. video and use of Adobe software (e.g. Photoshop, Premier Pro etc.) or a willingness to learn new skills in this space
  • Ability to think creatively and wisely and apply your influential personality
  • Previous experience of writing, editing and creating content across multiple digital and face to face channels including internal news announcements, newsletters, and face to face forums like town halls
  • Proofreading and attention to detail
  • The communications expertise to identify communications themes topics and content from projects teams and employees, and translate these into activities that support change communications.
