The Opportunity
Are you a Level 3 qualified practitioner looking to work in a setting that values wonder, awe, and child-led discovery? Saffrons Park Nursery is a proud Curiosity Approach accredited setting. Owned and managed by an experienced, hands-on team, we focus on creating "curious thinkers" through homely, natural, and engaging learning environments. As our owner, Sarah, is a Curiosity Approach Brand Ambassador, you will receive unparalleled support and training to master this beautiful pedagogy. Whether you are already familiar with the approach or are eager to learn, we provide full training as part of your induction.
The Role
- Environmental Excellence: Help maintain and evolve our natural, "hygge" inspired spaces that move away from plastic and towards authentic, open-ended resources.
- Outdoor Learning: Lead and engage in outdoor play—a love for the outdoors is essential for this role.
- Child Development: Observe and scaffold the learning of our children, fostering independence and a lifelong love of discovery.
- Professional Growth: Utilize our on-site Training Centre to advance your skills and stay at the forefront of Early Years practice.
Requirements
- Qualification: A minimum of Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years is essential.
- Mindset: An energetic, "curious" thinker who is passionate about natural learning environments.
- Commitment: Available for either a full-time 4-day week or a part-time 2/3 day week.
- Safeguarding: A deep commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All successful candidates will require a full DBS check.
