Saffron Vantage are working on behalf of a family run business. We are looking for x2 warehouse operatives on a permanent basis. Notice can be worked around.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 (Overtime available)
Locations
Dunmow (Head Office), Braintree, Harlow, Nort Weald (your training will be based out of Dunmow but will be required to work and travel to all locations)
Responsibilities
- General warehouse responsibilities, including picking, packing, handballing and palletising orders.
- Capable to operate forklift including counterbalance and reach.
- Capable to operate pump trucks and PPT.
- Travel to and from all locations listed above.
- Communicate well with others.
The successful candidate
- Previous warehouse experience is essential.
- Full UK driving licence
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe practices is essential.
- Proficiency in using a forklift. The ideal candidate will hold either an internal or external forklift licence.
- Basic mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well within a warehouse environment.
- Able to work well within a team and individually.
- Complaint attitude to health and safety.
- Flexible to work over weekends and occasional bank holidays.
- Flexible to come in earlier and work late.
- An up date copy of your CV.
