We are currently seeking an experienced Cover Site Manager for a temporary assignment at a prestigious site in Westminster, SW1P. This role will run from Tuesday, 23rd July to Thursday, 29th August 2025, covering the existing Site Manager during annual leave.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring all work is carried out safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee site operations and manage all trades and subcontractors on site
- Ensure health & safety compliance at all times
- Maintain site records, reports, and documentation
- Coordinate daily briefings and toolbox talks
- Report to the Contracts Manager and liaise with the client when required
- Ensure site is kept tidy, secure, and operating efficiently throughout the duration
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction (ideally within central London)
- Valid SMSTS certificate (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- Valid First Aid at Work certificate
- Valid Fire Marshal certification
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to maintain high health and safety standards and ensure site compliance
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
