My Client, an ever-growing main contractor, is looking to expand their commercial team as they have won a large stream of work in the Fit Out sector. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years post-graduate experience in a Quantity Surveying or Assistant Quantity Surveying Role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing quantity surveying support to the construction team
  • Obtaining tenders and budgeting
  • Managing projects and liaising with clients and suppliers
  • Maintaining a high level of commercial awareness and communication
  • Working within a small team to deliver excellent customer service
  • Ensuring that projects stay within budget and maximize the profit margin
  • Preparing contract documents
  • Procurement of Subcontract and Supply packages
  • Assessing applications and making payments
  • Measuring from drawings to produce bills of quantities and schedule materials
  • Client liaison including regular meetings
  • Producing the Contractors Monthly Report
  • Calculating variations and submission
  • Submitting monthly Cost/Value Reconciliations
