My Client, an ever-growing main contractor, is looking to expand their commercial team as they have won a large stream of work in the Fit Out sector. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years post-graduate experience in a Quantity Surveying or Assistant Quantity Surveying Role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing quantity surveying support to the construction team
- Obtaining tenders and budgeting
- Managing projects and liaising with clients and suppliers
- Maintaining a high level of commercial awareness and communication
- Working within a small team to deliver excellent customer service
- Ensuring that projects stay within budget and maximize the profit margin
- Preparing contract documents
- Procurement of Subcontract and Supply packages
- Assessing applications and making payments
- Measuring from drawings to produce bills of quantities and schedule materials
- Client liaison including regular meetings
- Producing the Contractors Monthly Report
- Calculating variations and submission
- Submitting monthly Cost/Value Reconciliations
