My Client, an ever-growing main contractor, is looking to expand their commercial team as they have won a large stream of work in the commercial fit-out sector.
Essential experience: Working on CAT A & CAT B projects.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years post-graduate experience in a Quantity Surveying or Assistant Quantity Surveying role.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing quantity surveying support to the construction team
- Obtaining tenders and budgeting
- Managing projects
- Liaising with clients and suppliers
Requirements:
- Maintaining a high level of commercial awareness and communication
- Working within a small team to deliver excellent customer service
- Ability to work under pressure
- Being organized and able to manage projects with support from the Lead QS
Ensure that projects stay within budget and maximize the profit margin. Be a key part of the site team carrying out the Quantity Surveying role including but not limited to:
- Preparing contract documents
- Producing the Contractors Monthly Report
- Submitting monthly Cost/Value Reconciliations
