Job description:
You will be responsible for preparing estimates for supply and installation of acoustic glazed partitions to main contractors and fitout contractors. Working closely with the Divisional Director, you will ensure all potential costs and risks are identified so that projects can be secured and delivered β at the maximum gross profit margin possible.
Once projects are secured by the Divisional Director, you will be involved with the handover to Project Manager, and will assist with monthly applications and contract administration eg. variations and tracking project profitability, preparation of draft final accounts etc.

Liaise with Waverley Estimating team to look at opportunities for joint bids
Complete electronic take offs of drawings (Planswift/On Screen Take Off)
Clarify any queries/discrepancies with contractor by raising RFIs confirmation in writing if possible
Send enquirys out to supply chain
Identify project specific product and ring fence to identify project specific costs and lead times
Identify programme dates and PC dates and advise the project manager for fit with secured work load
Discuss the tender with the design manager and request project specific detail drawings to substantiate the bid as well as any samples required
Prepare costings using excel spreadsheets, and summarise the tender for margin review with director
Complete tender clarifications to send with the proposal
Submit the tender and update Smartsheet Estimating Tracker ensure all bidders are provided with a quotation
Set quote follow Up tasks on Hubspot
Assist director with comprehensive handover of secured projects to Project Manager, ensuring all paper and electronic files in good order
Surveying
Prepare rolling accounts and price variations on secured projects
Submit monthly applications alongside the finance team
Quarterly review of supplier rates with director to ensure we have up to date prices
