Are you a detail-loving finance professional who enjoys turning numbers into useful insight? We're looking for a Management Accountant to join our friendly Finance Team at Saffron Building Society and play a key role in helping us make confident, well-informed business decisions.

What you'll be doing
As our Management Accountant, you'll help manage the month-end process, prepare management accounts and provide clear, meaningful reporting that supports teams across the Society. You'll also get involved in budgeting, forecasting, process improvement and ad hoc analysis, helping the Finance Team deliver accurate information and valuable insight.
You will work closely with colleagues across the business, supporting Management Performance Review documentation, helping teams understand their numbers, and spotting opportunities to make our processes smoother and more effective.
What we're looking for
- Experience in management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting or forecasting.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
- A sharp eye for detail, with the ability to spot trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.
- Someone who can explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach.
- Part-qualified accountant status would be great, but we're open to experienced candidates who can bring the right skills and attitude.
