We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sustainability and Reporting Manager to lead the delivery of our Net Zero programme and oversee the development of our responsible business reporting. This role sits at the heart of our responsible business plan, ensuring we meet our environmental commitments while responding effectively to client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Net Zero and Sustainability Strategy
- Lead the implementation and ongoing development of our Net Zero strategy and reduction pathways
- Monitor progress against emissions reduction targets
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify and deliver carbon reduction initiatives across operations and supply chain
- Drive internal engagement and awareness of sustainability initiatives
- Manage any additional and developing reporting requirements
- Prepare papers, updates, and performance reports for senior leadership
- Stay informed on evolving sustainability regulations, standards, and best practice
- Responsible Business Reporting
- Lead the annual responsible business report process, from planning through to publication
- Collect, validate, and analyse content from across the business
- Work with our Marketing team on design and production
- Client, Tender and Stakeholder Support
- Act as the central point of contact for all responsible business related client queries (including ED&I, Wellbeing and Social Impact), tenders, and RFP responses
- Develop and maintain a library of responses, case studies, and metrics
- Support the delivery of sustainability client engagements when required

As part of the Responsible Business team, you will play a key role in embedding sustainability across the business and have an opportunity to shape and lead a strategic agenda in a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a sustainability role
- Strong understanding of carbon accounting and Net Zero
- Experience producing responsible business or sustainability reports
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly
- Experience of stakeholder management and engagement
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines
Desirable
- Experience supporting tenders, bids, or client questionnaires
- Knowledge of UK sustainability regulations and disclosure requirements
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. IEMA, sustainability/ESG certifications)
Personal Attributes
- Passionate about sustainability and driving change
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative and confident engaging with senior stakeholders
Rewards and Benefits
A 35 hour working week with a hybrid working policy with the flexibility to work from home for up to three days per week (our core hours are 10-4). Excellent benefits including contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave, Life Assurance cover and great flexible benefits and family friendly policies. Eligibility for the firm's Profit-Sharing Plan, paid in December. Eligibility for the discretionary bonus scheme.
