We are seeking a proactive, resilient, and driven individual to join our team.
We are recruiting an experienced Assistant Manager focused on managing the personal tax compliance cycle. The role involves providing ad hoc advice related to the annual compliance cycle to our growing portfolio of individuals, trusts, partnerships, LLPs across various sectors, particularly landed estates and rural businesses.
As a training office, the candidate is also expected to support the development of junior staff through on-the-job training.
Key skills and characteristics include:
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- High motivation, ability, and commitment
- Previous management experience, managing own portfolio and reviewing work of junior staff
- Experience in delivering and managing personal tax compliance services
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Experience in providing tailored advice on inheritance and capital gains tax planning, international tax, and trust planning; a broad base is essential
- Background in professional services
- Confident communication skills with colleagues, partners, and clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
