We also work with businesses ancillary to production such as film financiers, visual effects, post‑production houses, and other service providers.

Due to significant growth, we are looking for an ambitious and driven senior manager to join our team in London. The role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting clients in the sector, helping them navigate a complex tax landscape and fully benefit from available tax incentives. You will play a key role in delivering tax services, help develop and shape the tax team, and have scope to make a real impact and progress quickly within this growing team.

The Responsibilities

  • Work with the tax director to lead and develop a team of ten corporate tax professionals.
  • Manage the day‑to‑day working of the team, including talent development and recruitment.
  • Undertake tax advisory projects with close collaboration with FTVG and tax partners and directors, advising on the operation of creative sector tax reliefs and supporting clients with tax planning and structuring of productions.
  • Oversee the delivery of corporate tax compliance and reporting engagements with responsibility for the tax relationship with key clients.
  • Keep abreast of tax changes impacting clients and provide tax technical leadership within the team.
  • Deal with HMRC on enquiry responses and collaborate with the team on policy initiatives.
  • Assist with business development, identifying opportunities and pitching to clients.

What we look for

We are seeking an experienced corporate tax professional with a background in professional practice or equivalent in‑house experience. Previous sector experience, including experience of creative sector tax credits, is not a requirement. An interest in our clients, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous professional development are needed. To qualify for the role, you must be professionally qualified ACA/CTA (or equivalent) with significant UK corporate tax experience. You will be enthusiastic, technically capable, and possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. The position requires leadership, teamwork, and commitment, with the ability to lead and inspire a team. You will have the confidence and professionalism to establish credibility at all levels, be commercially minded, and have a clear perception of client requirements.
