As part of our continued growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced Transaction Tax Director to join our Corporate Tax team.
This senior role will focus on advising clients across a broad range of transaction tax matters, including M Leading on a diverse portfolio of transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, demergers, and restructurings; Advising clients on tax implications of deal structures, due diligence, and post-transaction integration; Managing and developing strong relationships with corporate clients, Providing strategic tax advice that aligns with clients’ commercial objectives; Overseeing the delivery of high-quality technical work and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation; Supporting clients through HMRC interactions and negotiations where required; Contributing to the growth of the firm’s transaction tax capability through business development and thought leadership.

The team Our Corporate Tax team spans our 9 office locations and comprises 7 partners and over 100 professionals.
The team advises a wide range of clients across sectors including financial services, real estate, technology, hospitality, and manufacturing.

You This role would suit a qualified individual (e. g.
ACA/ACCA/CTA) with significant post-qualification experience in transaction tax, ideally gained in a professional services environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate: Strong UK tax technical expertise, particularly in transaction-related matters; Proven ability to deliver strategic tax advice in complex scenarios; Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple engagements simultaneously; A commitment to high-quality client service and relationship building; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; A collaborative approach to working with colleagues across different teams; Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members.
