As part of our continued growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced Transaction Tax Director to join our Corporate Tax team. This senior role will focus on advising clients across a broad range of transaction tax matters, including M&A, reorganisations, refinancing, and structuring. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading complex engagements, managing client relationships, and contributing to the development of our transaction tax offering. You will work closely with entrepreneurs, private equity houses, corporates, and other stakeholders to deliver commercially focused tax advice.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with internal partners to shape and execute our go-to-market strategy for transaction tax;
- Leading on a diverse portfolio of transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, demergers, and restructurings;
- Advising clients on tax implications of deal structures, due diligence, and post-transaction integration;
- Managing and developing strong relationships with corporate clients;
- Providing strategic tax advice that aligns with clients’ commercial objectives;
- Overseeing the delivery of high‑quality technical work and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation;
- Supporting clients through HMRC interactions and negotiations where required;
- Contributing to the growth of the firm’s transaction tax capability through business development and thought leadership.
