Are you looking to gain insight in Personal Tax? We’re seeking ambitious penultimate year university undergraduates from all backgrounds to join our team as a Summer Intern.

About the internships
Our summer internships run for a period of ten to twelve weeks each summer, providing a valuable insight into the workings of Saffery. You’ll be partnered with a dedicated mentor who will ensure your internship is both enjoyable and challenging.
Key dates to apply:
This role will commence in early June 2026. Please ensure that you are available to start the internship from the beginning of June 2026. We encourage early applications to avoid disappointment. Due to high volume, you may experience delays in the process but we will review all submissions fairly.
Your role and development
Your growth will incorporate an exciting blend of valuable work experience and real-world learning. You’ll work within the firm’s wider Personal Tax Services, which comprises of a national team operating across our nine UK offices. Work on delivering exceptional quality tax compliance. You will work on preparing and filling tax returns, carrying out manual reconciliation of tax liabilities and liaising directly with clients over the phone and in person. Gain exposure to a range of high net worth private clients. This includes those in the UK and offshore interests, property owners, business owners, partnerships and trusts, both domestically and internationally. We’ll support you every step of the way through mentorship, structured training, as well as regular social events to build friendships with colleagues.
What you’ll need
- 2:1 undergraduate degree (expected) in any discipline
- A minimum of 120 UCAS points from your top 3 A Levels (or equivalent), excluding General Studies and AS Levels
- A minimum of 6 (or B) in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent)
