This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping a developing service line, supporting the national business across a diverse portfolio of clients and projects.

The position combines technical delivery with commercial input, including involvement in transactions, business development and strategic growth initiatives.

The responsibilities Manage and deliver capital allowances claims across a varied client base including real estate, landed and rural estates and creative industries.

Conduct technical analysis of qualifying expenditure and prepare robust claim reports.

Prepare capital allowances input on transactions, including due diligence, structuring considerations and identifying risk/opportunity areas.

Undertake site inspections to identify qualifying assets and gather supporting evidence.

Collaborate with colleagues across the national tax, audit and advisory teams to identify opportunities and deliver joined-up advice.

You The role would suit a qualified individual (ATT/CTA) with a strong grounding in UK corporate tax.

Proven experience in supporting the delivery of capital allowances claims including acquisitions (experience of LRR and RDA claims would be desirable); Ability to analyse tax technical queries and prepare robust advice and solutions; Project management skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise work, meet deadlines and monitor budgets; Commercial mindset with an interest in building client relationships and contributing towards growth; Reward and benefits A 35 hour working week with a hybrid working policy with the flexibility to work from home for up to three days per week (our core hours are 10-4). contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave, Life Assurance cover and great flexible benefits and family friendly policies.
