Overview

In this Corporate Tax role, you will manage a mixed client portfolio delivering corporate tax compliance and advisory services.

You will engage with UK and international clients and collaborate with Partners and Managers on advisory projects, including restructuring and cross-border planning.

You’ll handle tax computations, deadlines, and client/HMRC communications while developing expertise across international and specialised tax areas.

This is a client-facing role with a clear path to growth within a supportive, diverse firm.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review corporation tax computations
  • Manage milestones, return and payment deadlines
  • Communicate with clients and HMRC
  • Support Partners and Managers on advisory assignments and planning (international tax, capital allowances, R&D relief, structuring)
  • Advise on complex tax areas (capital allowances, R&D, transfer pricing, SSE, CFC, CIR, Withholding Tax, Double Taxation Relief) with specialist support
  • Contribute to stand-alone tax advisory projects (acquisitions, disposals, transaction support, due diligence)
  • Provide guidance to junior staff and support career development
  • Key requirements
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CTA with 1–2 years post-qualification experience in corporation tax
  • Strong UK tax technical skills
  • Ability to analyse tax queries and provide robust advice
  • Project management and prioritisation abilities
