Overview
In this senior role, you will lead high-stakes real estate transaction tax work within the National Corporate Tax team. You’ll advise on M&A, restructurings and property-related deals for developers, investors and owner-managed businesses. You’ll shape engagements, manage client relationships, and help grow the firm’s transaction tax and real estate tax capabilities. A key hook is supporting clients through complex structures and HMRC negotiations in a collaborative, advisory-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse portfolio of transactions including acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and property-related deals
- Advise on tax implications of deal structures, due diligence, and post-transaction integration
- Provide transaction support for real estate acquisitions and disposals including structuring and due diligence
- Manage relationships with corporate and real estate clients across commercial, residential, development and landed estate sectors
- Shape and execute go-to-market strategy for transaction tax and real estate transactions
- Oversee delivery of high-quality technical work and ensure regulatory compliance
- Support clients in HMRC interactions and negotiations as required
- Contribute to growth through business development, networking and thought leadership
