The responsibilities Frequently dealing with challenging technical issues, the candidate can expect the role to encompass the following areas amongst others: With the support of the Head of Department and other staff, responsibility for developing relationships and new business opportunities to provide a range of tax and other services to. Overall responsibility and accountability for a group of clients, with excellent technical expertise in your field. Skilled at leading and managing the relationship with clients, with the aim of developing new business from your current client base and beyond. Responsibility for encouraging and developing, associate directors and other staff members. Ensuring excellent client service whilst minimising conduct risk. Contributing to the management of your department and/or office if relevant. Work with our internal fee earning partners, to develop our go to market strategy The team Our Corporate Tax team spans our 9 office locations and comprises 7 partners and over 100 professionals. The Corporate Tax teams deal with a large portfolio of companies operating in a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, technology, retail, recruitment, financial services, hospitality and property. You The role would suit a qualified individual (for example ACA/ACCA/CTA) with several years post qualification experience in corporation tax. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Strong UK tax technical skills; Ability to analyse tax technical queries and provide robust advice and solutions; Project management skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise work, meet deadlines and monitor budgets; Responsibility for the delivery and quality of work; A clear client focus with a commitment to building strong client relationships; Ability to work collaboratively with different teams; and Coaching and mentoring skills to develop other team members.
