Stock Controller

Are you an experienced Stock Controller who takes pride in keeping things organised, accurate and running smoothly?

We’re looking for someone to take ownership of parts and materials within our Distribution Centre, making sure the right stock is in the right place at the right time.

It’s an important role at the heart of our operation. You’ll maintain accurate stock levels, manage goods-in efficiently and work closely with colleagues across refurbishment, manufacturing and our UK & Ireland Branch Network. But this is more than keeping track of stock. By making sure the right parts are in the right place at the right time, you’ll help keep our operation moving, our machines ready and our teams able to deliver for our customers.

If you’re organised, detail-focused and enjoy working in a busy operational environment where your contribution really matters, we’d love to hear from you.

What’s in it for you?

As our Stock Controller, you’ll receive:

  • £28,800salary per annum
  • Monday to Friday day shifts, with flexible hours
  • 5% contributory pension and life assurance at 3x salary
  • Private healthcare from day one
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity and sick pay
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme providing confidential support
  • Wellbeing and lifestyle discounts, including Virgin Active gym membership, Gymflex, Tastecard and cashback with major retailers
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Employee recognition and referral rewards
  • Training and development opportunities to support your career progression

At Safetykleen, we provide essential parts cleaning, waste collection and environmental advisory services that help our customers reduce their environmental footprint while improving operational performance.

With operations across 15 countries and more than 1 million services delivered each year, you’ll be joining a stable and growing business where your work makes a tangible difference.

We’re fast-paced, agile and focused on delivering a great service, with sustainability and long-term customer partnerships at the heart of what we do.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll play a key role in keeping our Distribution Centre organised and ensuring parts are available when and where they’re needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate stock levels and coordinating parts for refurbishment, manufacturing, branches and external markets
  • Organising and dispatching parts efficiently, ensuring compliance with company and export regulations
  • Leading stock checks, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions
  • Receiving, inspecting and accurately booking in goods, while maintaining an organised and efficient goods-in area
  • Working closely with internal teams to resolve issues, support production and help prevent stock shortages
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce stock risks and support operational projects

About You

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Experience in stock control or inventory management, including handling components or spare parts
  • Knowledge of MRP systems, with D365 experiencepreferred, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational and housekeeping skills
  • A flexible, adaptable and proactive approach
  • The confidence to work independently while also being a strong team player
  • An understanding of machine parts, or importantly, a willingness to learn

You don’t need to know everything from day one. If you have strong stock control experience, a great eye for detail and the willingness to learn our products and operation, we’d be keen to hear from you.

If you’re looking for a hands-on stock control role where you can take ownership, work with a variety of teams and contribute to a busy operation, we’d love to hear from you.
