Are you a strategic commercial leader with a passion for sustainability and a deep understanding of the UK waste industry? We are hiring for a Head of Commercial - Waste Solutions to shape and lead our business development and account growth strategy across the UK. This is a high-impact leadership role, focused on driving revenue, leading a high-performing team of Business Development Managers, and delivering commercially innovative waste management solutions to both new and existing customers. Please note regular travel across the UK is a key requirement to the role.

- Inspire and direct a national team of Business Development Managers, setting clear activity frameworks, coaching for excellence, and cultivating a high-performance culture.
- Take full P&L accountability, revenue target and ambitions, margin, and pricing decisions to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
- Create data-driven, commercially viable waste-management programmes that meet the unique sustainability goals of new and existing clients.
- Build and deepen senior-level relationships with high-value customers and industry stakeholders, acting as the face of the business and championing our commercial proposition.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and deliver compelling bids, presentations and tenders.
- Design, implement and continuously refine performance-linked commission and reward schemes, that align team behaviour with strategic objectives.

- Proven experience within the waste industry, with a deep understanding of the UK market.
- Strong commercial acumen and a successful track record of selling outsourced or service-led solutions.
- Demonstrated success in both new business generation and account growth.
- Ability to lead and inspire sales teams with clear direction and structure.
- Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Highly strategic, analytical, and results-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable with regular UK-wide travel.
