The Opportunity

Our Group FP&A Analyst is a key strategic finance role responsible for driving Group level management reporting, forecasts, and budgets, while providing actionable insights to support decision making by the Executive Team and Board. Partnering with international markets and central finance, you’ll translate operational performance into sharp analysis, run scenario modelling and variance commentary, and help shape and maintain the Group’s long-term financial plan. Bring analytical rigour and strong commercial judgement, and you’ll have real influence on Group performance and strategy.

Into the Detail

  • Monthly Reporting & Commentary
    • Produce the monthly Group management pack, including financial performance analysis and commentary on key drivers of budget delivery.
    • Prepare reports and insights for the Executive Team and Board to support monthly meetings.
    • Highlight performance trends, risks, and opportunities to enable informed decision-making.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting
    • Manage the Group budgeting and periodic reforecasting processes, setting deadlines, and ensuring FP&A teams across the Group are enabled to deliver accurate inputs.
    • Prepare Hyperion input templates and consolidate results, ensuring consistency and accuracy of assumptions and outputs.
    • Maintain a rolling “latest best estimate” of future market results, tracking risks and opportunities.
  • Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning
    • Track and analyse Function costs across the Group (eg Finance, HR, Operations) identifying drivers, efficiencies, and opportunities for optimisation, supporting functional leads.
    • Own and maintain the Group’s 5-year financial model, incorporating strategic initiatives, market assumptions, and scenario planning.
    • Support ad-hoc commercial or project analysis, providing clear, actionable insights for decision making.

About You

  • You are Part Qualified / Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or have equivalent FP&A experience.
  • Experienced in FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting.
  • Advanced in financial modelling and analytical skills (Excel, Hyperion, or equivalent).
  • Possess commercial acumen, with the ability to link financial performance to operational results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex information clearly for senior stakeholders.
