The Opportunity
As our Senior Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer, you’ll be a big agent for change, shaping how Finance & Operations runs across our entire international business.
You’ll lead a team of 3 developers to scale our new ERP solution, working hand‑in‑hand with the C‑suite and key stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, and IT.
Reporting directly to the Group IT Enterprise Business Solutions Director to deliver critical customisations and integrations that drive performance, compliance, and growth.

About You
- You’re an expert in X++ development within Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), with a track record of delivering high‑quality solutions.
- You understand core Finance functionality – General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Budgeting – and can translate business processes into technical designs.
- Passionate about innovation, you stay ahead of AI and automation trends and know how to apply them to real‑world finance and operational challenges.
- You’re skilled in building and maintaining integrations via REST APIs, data entities, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), and Azure services.
- You follow DevOps best practices using Lifecycle Services, Azure DevOps, and Git.
- You have strong problem‑solving abilities, from performance tuning modules to troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- You communicate clearly, collaborate across cross‑functional teams, and document solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
- You hold (or are working toward) Microsoft Certification as a Dynamics 365 Finance Developer Associate, and you’re eager to continue growing your expertise.
Into the detail
- Design, develop, and maintain customisations in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations using X++, .NET, and other applicable technologies.
- Develop and manage integrations between D365 and other internal or external systems using REST APIs, data entities, Power Platform, and Azure services.
- Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and key users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the application lifecycle including requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Optimise performance of D365 Finance modules, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ongoing operations.
- Follow DevOps practices using LCS, Azure DevOps, and source control (Git).
- Ensure code quality and compliance with best practices, security standards, and company policies.
- Participate in upgrade and patching efforts, including regression testing of customisations.
