Transport Compliance, ADR & Fleet Safety (UK & Ireland)
About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Dangerous Goods Expert to support and strengthen transport, dangerous goods and operational compliance standards across our UK & Ireland operations. This is a national, field-based role where you’ll be the go-to specialist for ADR, transport compliance and fleet safety. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, operational teams and branch leadership to strengthen standards and keep a complex mixed fleet operating safely, legally and efficiently. From leading audits and investigations to driving continuous improvement, you’ll be right at the centre of raising performance and embedding best practice across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting and maintaining transport and HSEQ compliance standards across the UK & Ireland
- Acting as the subject matter expert for ADR and Dangerous Goods Safety compliance
- Conducting operational audits, compliance reviews and branch support visits
- Supporting FORS audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Providing support with Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management and conducting DSEAR assessments
- Providing guidance on operator licence compliance, vehicle safety and fleet standards
- Reviewing tachograph performance and driver compliance data
- Supporting Transport Managers and operational teams through coaching and practical guidance
- Assisting with investigations, corrective actions and compliance improvement plans
- Working with internal teams to support compliance communications and operational briefings
- Travelling regularly across the UK & Ireland, with the potential of an overnight stay 1 night per week

About You
You’re a practical and knowledgeable transport compliance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams to improve standards, reduce risk and drive continuous improvement. You’ll ideally have experience within hazardous waste, environmental services, logistics or another compliance-led operational environment, along with strong knowledge of ADR, fleet compliance and transport legislation.
- DGSA qualification with practical ADR experience
- FORS Practitioner qualified
- Strong knowledge of transport legislation and fleet compliance
- Experience conducting audits and supporting operational compliance
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
