Join our Manufacturing team in Dinnington as a Continuous Improvement Design Engineer! You'll play a key role in designing and building top-quality Parts Cleaning Machines, whilst driving continuous improvements in our manufacturing processes. Job Responsibilities for our Continuous Improvement Design Engineer:
- Identifying and analysing inefficiencies in manufacturing, production, or service processes and finding ways to improve them.
- Working with product and process design teams to integrate continuous improvement practices into product designs or manufacturing processes.
- Using statistical tools to gather and analyse data to support decision-making processes. This could involve tracking performance metrics or identifying failure points in current processes.
- Applying structured methodologies to address specific challenges and improve performance.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and ensure solutions are sustainable.
- Documenting improvement efforts, outcomes, and new procedures, and reporting findings to management or stakeholders.
Skills/experience required:
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
- Worked in a manufacturing or repair environment.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks.
