The Opportunity

Our Account Managers are instrumental in delivering an excellent customer experience and helping our customers realise the full benefits of Safetykleen’s products and services. You’ll manage and grow a portfolio of approximately 70 live accounts across Exeter and surrounding areas. You’ll be at the forefront of driving growth, improving customer productivity and supporting their sustainability goals, while ensuring they always receive a high standard of service and proactive strategic account management. This is a field-based role with travel aligned to customer needs.

What you’ll be doing

  • Strategic account management – supporting customers so their needs are anticipated, service is consistent, retention is strong and partnerships are long term.
  • Growing revenue and value – building and executing account strategies that grow profitable revenue, drive upsell and cross-sell, and position Safetykleen as their partner of choice.
  • Building senior stakeholder relationships – developing trusted relationships with the teams using our solutions daily and director level and senior decision makers, presenting tailored, value-led solutions and securing long-term contracts and extensions.
  • Owning results – consistently aiming to meet and exceed sales targets, using account performance data and insight to refine your approach and unlock new growth opportunities.

You bring resilience and tenacity to your work, staying positive and self-assured under pressure and bouncing back quickly from setbacks. A valid UK driving licence is essential for this field-based role.
