Overview

Waste Manager role at Safetykleen. We are seeking a Waste Team Leader to join our Elmswell team. You will play a crucial role in the growth, development, and logistical planning of our waste customer base and leading a team of hazardous and low hazardous waste representatives to deliver exceptional service levels and compliance standards. This is a Monday to Friday role with full training provided.

Base pay range

  • £37,000 plus bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a small team of waste collection drivers to deliver exceptional service and compliance.
  • Plan work and scheduling routings, collaborating internally and externally.
  • Manage account activities, communicate effectively with customers, and achieve sales quotas and waste targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while enhancing existing customer accounts.
  • Handle customer service issues promptly, manage holiday and sickness cover, and drive team performance.

Experience / Skills

  • A clean UK Driving Licence.
  • A Class 2 Drivers Licence required.
  • CPC desirable.
  • ADR desirable.
  • Experience within the waste industry.
  • Someone who enjoys being out on the road, meeting customers, building trusted relationships, and leading a team.
