The predicted salary is between 35000 - 40000 £ per year.
This is a varied and practical role where no two weeks are likely to be the same.
Typical duties include:
- Undertaking construction site inspections and audits
- Preparing and reviewing Construction Phase Plans (CPPs)
- Preparing Pre-Construction Information (PCI)
- Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
- Supporting contractors with their duties under CDM 2015
- Advising clients, designers and contractors on construction health & safety matters
- Working collaboratively with project teams to identify practical solutions to health & safety challenges
We are looking for someone who can communicate effectively with people on site and provide sensible, practical advice, not simply quote regulations.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- Previous construction industry experience
- Good understanding of construction activities and associated risks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Ability to produce professional reports and documentation
- Confidence engaging with contractors, site managers, designers and clients
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to project sites
