A growing construction business is looking to appoint a H&S Advisor to join its team. This is a strong opportunity for someone who is newly NEBOSH qualified and looking to take their first step into a dedicated Safety, Health and Environmental role within a supportive and development-focused environment. The role will suit someone who wants to build a long-term career in SHE, gain practical experience and work closely with operational teams across a live, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support site teams with safety, health and environmental guidance
  • Carry out site inspections, audits and risk assessments
  • Assist in promoting a positive and proactive safety culture
  • Investigate incidents and support follow-up actions
  • Help identify areas for improvement and support continuous improvement activity
  • Work closely with operational teams to maintain standards and compliance
  • Support day-to-day SHE activity across multiple sites

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum
  • Keen to move into, or develop within, a dedicated SHE role
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to speak with site teams
  • Practical approach and willingness to learn
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Happy to travel as part of the role
