Senior HSE Manager FMCG | Production Rochester Up to £75,000 You will be joining a fast-growing FMCG business as Senior Health, Safety & Environment Manager, taking ownership of health and safety at a busy production site. This is a welcoming business with good people and plenty of scope to make your mark as the operation develops. Working closely with production teams and senior management, you’ll help ensure health and safety keeps pace with the growth of the site. Your remit will include reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work, strengthening procedures, supporting incident investigations and turning findings into practical improvements. DSEAR will be an important part of the role, so you’ll need the knowledge and confidence to identify risks and work with operational teams to put effective controls in place. There is also an opportunity to help shape the company’s management systems. The business does not currently hold ISO 45001, 14001 or 9001 certification, so experience developing or implementing these standards would be particularly useful. This would suit someone who enjoys being visible on the production floor, building relationships and helping people work safely. You’ll bring a practical approach, the confidence to challenge when needed and an understanding of the demands of a busy FMCG environment. You’ll bring: * Experience leading health and safety within FMCG or a comparable production environment. * Strong working knowledge of DSEAR and its practical application. * Experience improving health and safety systems, standards and performance. * The ability to engage people across production teams and senior management. * Ideally, experience implementing or working with ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001. If you’re looking for a role with ownership, variety and the opportunity to grow with the business, we’d like to hear from you
