Our client is seeking an Internal Auditor to support the delivery of their internal audit programme, focusing on site operations and project governance.\\n\\nThis is a great opportunity for someone with audit experience who enjoys being hands-on and proactive—spending time on live sites, engaging with operational teams, and helping embed a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Deliver internal audits across a range of projects and business units, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements\\n\\n * \\n\\n Support the development and implementation of the annual internal audit plan\\n\\n * \\n\\n Conduct detailed site audits to evaluate risk management, control, and governance processes\\n\\n * \\n\\n Identify non-conformities, weaknesses, and areas for improvement across operational and compliance areas\\n\\n * \\n\\n Draft concise audit reports that clearly outline findings, root causes, and recommendations\\n\\n * \\n\\n Collaborate with departments and project teams to follow up on corrective actions and support implementation\\n\\n * \\n\\n Monitor compliance with ISO and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Support wider business initiatives around assurance, continuous improvement, and regulatory alignment\\n\\n * \\n\\n Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders on audit findings and risk mitigation strategies\\n\\nSkills and Experience:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Qualified Lead Auditor (essential)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience conducting internal audits in a construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, or FM setting\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong knowledge of audit principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks\\n\\n * \\n\\n CQI Associate/Member/Chartered preferred\\n\\n * \\n\\n Comfortable auditing both office and site-based operations\\n\\n * \\n\\n Confident communicator who can influence and engage at all levels of the business\\n\\n * \\n\\n Well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple audits and priorities independently\\n\\nWhat’s on Offer:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Salary up to £62,000\\n\\n * \\n\\n Car or car allowance\\n\\n * \\n\\n Hybrid working structure\\n\\n * \\n\\n Company pension and private medical cover\\n\\n * \\n\\n Clear opportunities for growth and further professional development\\n\\n * \\n\\n A forward-thinking, collaborative internal audit team
