About the Role:

We are seeking a Junior Hydrogeologist to join our construction client in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in hydrogeology, groundwater assessment, and environmental consultancy.

As part of our expert team, you will support a variety of projects, from water resource management to contaminated land investigations. If you're passionate about hydrogeology and eager to develop your skills, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct groundwater monitoring, sampling, and data analysis
  • Assist with hydrogeological risk assessments and groundwater modelling
  • Support environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and water resource evaluations
  • Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists on multidisciplinary projects
  • Prepare technical reports and contribute to client presentations
  • Undertake occasional site visits across the UK

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field (MSc preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Some experience with groundwater modelling software (e.g., MODFLOW) is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • A full UK driving licence (or willingness to obtain one)
