A well-established Construction contractor, recognised for safety excellence and high-quality project delivery, is seeking an experienced Senior Health & Safety Advisor / Manager to support construction projects across the West Midlands.
If you’re a Health & Safety professional who wants to be on site, visible, influential, and genuinely making a difference, this could be the role you’ve been waiting for. This is a regional, site-focused position designed for someone who thrives on building relationships, shaping safety culture, and taking real ownership of standards and performance.
Responsibilities- Carry out site audits and inspections, manage corrective actions, and ensure compliance with UK legislation, client requirements, and company systems.
- Work closely with site managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to drive behavioural change and promote a proactive, values-led safety culture.
- Manage your own regional workload with a focus on meaningful site presence – less travel, more impact.
- Strong background in construction health & safety, operating at Senior Advisor, Manager or Lead Consultant level.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential). Diploma or progress toward chartership highly desirable.
- Comfortable challenging unsafe behaviours, influencing operational teams, and engaging senior stakeholders.
- Able to take ownership of safety performance, escalate issues when required, and lead improvement initiatives.
- A genuine passion for protecting people and raising health & safety standards on site.
Salary up to £55,000 (DOE) plus car allowance and benefits.
