A well-established construction contractor with a strong safety reputation is looking to appoint a Senior Health & Safety professional to support live construction projects across the West Midlands. This is a site-facing, operational role for a health & safety professional who wants to be visible on site, influence behaviours, and take genuine ownership of standards, not sit behind spreadsheets.
The Role
This position is designed for someone who enjoys being embedded with project teams and making safety work in the real world. You will support multiple construction sites regionally, with a clear emphasis on:

Key Responsibilities
- Site Audits & Compliance
- Conduct site inspections and audits
- Manage corrective actions and follow-through
- Ensure compliance with UK legislation, client standards, and company systems
- Coaching & Influence
- Work closely with site managers, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Challenge unsafe behaviours confidently and constructively

About You
You will be a construction-focused H&S professional who is comfortable operating independently on live sites.
Essential
- Strong construction health & safety background
- Experience at Senior Advisor, H&S Manager, or Lead Consultant level
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- Confident on site and able to influence operational teams
Desirable
- NEBOSH Diploma or working towards chartership
- Experience engaging with senior management and clients
