Health & Safety Advisor – Regional Construction Subcontractor\\nLocation: South Birmingham and surrounding areas\\nSalary: Up to £50,000 + package\\n\\nThe Company\\nThis regional subcontractor has built a strong reputation for delivering quality and reliability across a range of commercial, industrial, and refurbishment projects. Known for its collaborative culture and focus on safety, the company continues to grow through repeat business and long-standing client relationships.\\n\\nThe Role\\nYou’ll be joining a close-knit team, working with site managers and client representatives to uphold high health and safety standards across sites in the West Midlands. This is a hands-on role offering autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to make a real impact within a well-established subcontractor.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * \\n\\n Provide day-to-day support and advice on health and safety matters to site teams\\n\\n * \\n\\n Liaise with clients and internal SHEQ colleagues to maintain consistent standards\\n\\n * \\n\\n Attend and contribute to site and project safety meetings\\n\\n * \\n\\n Review and approve RAMS and safe systems of work\\n\\n * \\n\\n Deliver toolbox talks and site inductions\\n\\n * \\n\\n Conduct regular site inspections and issue detailed reports\\n\\n * \\n\\n Investigate incidents and recommend practical corrective actions\\n\\n * \\n\\n Support occupational health management on sites\\n\\n * \\n\\n Assist with training, inductions, and competency tracking\\n\\nAbout You\\n\\n * \\n\\n NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum requirement)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience working within construction, ideally with a subcontractor or principal contractor\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong communication and influencing skills, confident on site and in meetings\\n\\n * \\n\\n Organised, proactive, and able to manage your own workload\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competent with IT systems and report writing\\n\\nDesirable\\n\\n * \\n\\n NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent higher-level qualification\\n\\nWhat’s on Offer\\n\\n * \\n\\n Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience\\n\\n * \\n\\n Company pension and enhanced benefits package\\n\\n * \\n\\n Health Cash Plan and wellness support\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ongoing professional development and CPD opportunities\\n\\n * \\n\\n Flexible working arrangements\\n\\n * \\n\\n Holiday purchase scheme and long service recognition
