SMSE are one of the longest established independent Health and Safety Consultancies in the North of England. This vibrant and established Health and Safety Consultancy is going through a period of sustained growth. We have a number of high profile clients across the North of England and nationally.

SMSE are looking for a focused and knowledgeable Health and Safety Consultant, and the company will support the right individual to develop as a consultant and gain a wide range of experience across a variety of sectors and industries. You will be part of a small established team.

The work will involve:

  • Carrying out inspections and audits
  • Carrying out risk assessments
  • Fire risk assessments
  • Delivering training
  • Providing general consultancy advice

The work will involve travel across the North, Yorkshire and nationally.

The Individual

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, well organised individual who is NEBOSH Cert/NVQ4/5 qualified and a member of IOSH and you will ideally be aiming to achieve Chartered status. A professional self-starter with an amicable attitude, attention to detail and an ability to manage your own workload are important. A desire to develop personally and broaden your experience are essential.

Salary & Benefits

Depending on qualifications and experience - up to £42K. Bonus, car allowance, 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays, pension.
