Our Regional Account Managers are instrumental in delivering an excellent customer experience and helping our customers realise the full benefits of Safetykleen’s products and services. You will manage and grow a portfolio of high‑value, multi‑site national key accounts across the UK, acting as the frontline advocate for safety and sustainability. This is a national field‑based role requiring travel aligned to customer needs; you will need flexibility for some mid‑week overnight stays.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning multi‑site strategic accounts – managing high‑value, multi‑location customers so their needs are anticipated, service is consistent across sites, retention is strong and partnerships are long term.
- Growing revenue and value – building and executing account strategies that grow profitable revenue, drive upsell and cross‑sell, and position Safetykleen as the partner of choice.
- Building senior stakeholder relationships – developing trusted relationships with director‑level and senior decision‑makers, presenting tailored, value‑led solutions and securing long‑term contracts and extensions.
- Leading tenders, frameworks and the sales cycle – partnering with internal teams to shape commercially sound framework agreements and taking full ownership of the sales process for your accounts.
- Owning results – consistently aiming to meet and exceed sales targets, using account performance data and insight to refine your approach and unlock new growth opportunities.
About You
You are a field‑based B2B account manager who enjoys being in front of customers, growing high‑value accounts and turning senior relationships into long‑term, profitable partnerships. You’re confident operating with senior stakeholders, able to talk numbers, value and outcomes with director‑level decision‑makers. Experience with tenders or framework agreements is a strong advantage.
You Will Have
- A proactive, structured approach – you know your customers, manage your pipeline with discipline and always understand where you are against target.
- Resilience and calm under pressure – you’re comfortable working towards stretching targets, staying positive, solution‑focused and commercially aware when challenges arise.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel, including some mid‑week overnight stays.
