As a CDM/H&S Consultant, you’ll have the chance to work on cutting-edge projects and collaborate with industry leaders while driving safety standards. What You’ll Do:
- Deliver the role of Client CDM Advisor and Principal Designer Advisor on allocated projects.
- Liaising with clients, Designers, and key project stakeholders and advising on key aspects of building designs to ensure CDM 2015 compliance.
- Regularly review the designs to ensure compliance and best practices throughout the design and construction phases.
- Process applicable CDM compliance documentation including F10 submissions and Pre-Construction Information.
- Competence / SKET assessments and advice CPP / RAMS reviews and advice to clients/contractors.
- Undertake site audits and inspections as instructed through appointments.
- Prepare and Issue Health & Safety File upon project completion.
- Ensure the maintenance of professional memberships and SKET through CPD programmes of professional bodies.
- Participate in team meetings and workshops as appropriate.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction safety, preferably with a background in design or construction.
- CMaPS and/or CIOSH qualifications (or working towards them).
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a range of professionals.
- A knack for building relationships and making safety an integral part of every project.
