We are seeking an ambitious, compassionate, and motivated Trainee Manager who is ready to progress into a Registered Manager position through our structured Managers Development Programme. This is a unique opportunity to join an organisation committed to therapeutic, relationship‑based care and develop into a confident and capable Registered Manager with full support, mentoring, and leadership development throughout your journey.

The Opportunity

Your journey will begin within our established operational children's home in Walsall Wood, which is currently transitioning into a specialist therapeutic bridging service. The home is being developed to support children and young people who are ready to transition from residential care into fostering placements but may have become "stuck" within residential services due to trauma, attachment difficulties, or placement instability.

Essential Requirements

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience within children's residential care
  • Understanding of safeguarding and trauma‑informed practice
  • Willingness to complete or currently working toward Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
