My client is a well-known, national Children’s Residential Care Company, renowned in the sector. They offer a range of services which include modern residential care for children, young people and adults, and operate a significant range of supported living schemes that include individual flats, houses and grouped accommodation arrangements. My client believes that no child should be disadvantaged and that all children should be part of a community.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join the Children’s Home in Walsall. In return for hard work and commitment, you can expect, in addition to competitive pay and conditions and a range of benefits, to have a high-quality induction and ongoing training and development.
As the Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for deputising in the Registered Manager’s absence and supporting Team Leaders and Support Workers. The Deputy Manager will:
- Support and work alongside the Registered Manager to ensure the home meets with the requirements of the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standard.
- Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager.
- Oversee the day to day running of the Walsall Wood home.
