As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily activities, ensuring comfort and wellbeing.
You will work in a team supporting both staff and residents in residential or nursing home settings, as well as some supported living services.
We have a variety of shifts for Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers and Senior HCAs including long days, earlies, lates and nights available in: Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent, Stone, Stafford, Cannock, Rugeley, Birmingham, Telford, Shrewsbury, Leek, Uttoxeter, Crewe, Audlem, Derby Your main duties will involve: Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing and grooming.
Supporting residents with mobility and transfer, using the appropriate equipment where required.
Providing companionship and emotional support to all residents.
Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met.
Always promoting independence and dignity.
Following and updating care plans.
Previous experience working as a Health Care Assistant or Support Worker is essential, however, full training can be provided for those who demonstrate a compassionate, caring nature and desire to provide quality care to improve the lives of others.
