As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily activities, ensuring comfort and wellbeing. You will work in a team supporting both staff and residents in residential or nursing home settings, as well as some supported living services. We have a variety of shifts for Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers and Senior HCAs including long days, earlies, lates and nights available in: Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent, Stone, Stafford, Cannock, Rugeley, Birmingham, Telford, Shrewsbury, Leek, Uttoxeter, Crewe, Audlem, Derby.
Your main duties will involve:
- Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing and grooming.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to all residents.
- Following and updating care plans.
Previous experience working as a Health Care Assistant or Support Worker is essential, however, full training can be provided for those who demonstrate a compassionate, caring nature and desire to provide quality care to improve the lives of others.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Full Right to Work in the United Kingdom is essential.
- A full UK Drivers Licence is desirable.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care is desirable.
- Willingness to attend training and induction at our office in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
