Job Description

The role overall is day to day operations of the children's home.

This will include centre leadership, staff support and decision making within the boundaries of delegated authority and within the policies and procedures of homes for Children and to outline a balanced programme in co-operation with all staff to take account of the social, care and education needs of all young people.

You will provide leadership and oversight to the three disciplines at the home.

  • Accurately and consistently applies company policies and guidelines to the use of electronic records management, physical records management.
  • Understands and uses basic technology as a tool in staff communication (e. g., email, scheduling, etc.) and can develop others in its use.
  • Accurately creates, generates and maintains diverse reports & documents utilising databases, spreadsheets and communications.
  • Collates, analyses and reports on data collected to meet business requirements.
  • Proficient in using appropriate personal computer software and business communication systems.
  • Communication and Teamwork
  • Understands the importance of keeping the team up to date, takes time to explain things.
  • Works in an open manner, shares information with others to get the job done.
  • Encourages staff to discuss ideas and concerns and provides feedback to the relevant parties.
